Each 2025 SLSC competitor is required to take a SkillsUSA Professional Development test.  The button below contains a study guide that students may use to assist with prep.  

The technical standards are the roadmap of a contest.  All national contests are NOT offered on the state level.  Please review contest list below to cross reference.

The scorecards are to ONLY be used as a roadmap with the technical standards to prepare students for the contest.  All areas may NOT be judged and scorecards may be changed on the state and/or national level to reflect the project used or equipment available.

Any member seeking a  state officer position MUST fill out the application below.  

One advisor for the chapter may upload ONE scanned file of all SLSC required contestant resumes.  The  resumes must be in alphabetical order by LAST name of student.  Please upload at the button below.  

Student, Advisor, and Proctor Instructions for the online testing process are below.  

Remember:  The students' CTE teacher is NOT permitted to proctor the test.  All tests MUST be proctored by a secretary, academic teacher, principal, janitor, counselor, or any other administrative person in the building.  

Testing window will OPEN February 28 at 8am

Testing window will CLOSE March 8 at 2pm

All testing credentials was emailed to the lead advisor at your school on 2-28
